Mrs. Balogh

In 1995 I graduated from Southgate Anderson High school and moved into my next step of my journey at Siena Heights University. Graduating in 1999 with my teaching degree in Elementary Education I found myself starting my first year at Westwood in 2000 at Thorne Elementary teaching third grade.  I was very excited to have found my home at Westwood I became dedicated to the students my first experience working with them.  Looking to further myself with Educational Leadership I moved into graduate school working on my Master’s Degree at University of Michigan-Dearborn.  I was very excited to continue working with students here at Westwood as I moved through grades four, five, and six.  I continued to work at Thorne until I found myself ready for a new adventure moving into Tomlinson Middle School in 2011.  In October 2015 I was pleased to have the opportunity to explore my dream of moving into the Interim position at Thorne Intermediate.  Throughout my 16 years at Westwood, I have met and worked with some amazing students, staff, and parents.
